It has been a really good year so far. My mom's cancer has diminished by 63% at last testing. She looks better than she ever has, and seems to have a better attitude towards life.
My brother got married in May and will be moving to Northern Virginia this Summer. He and his wife Yesenia are also expecting a baby in September. Allison is excited that she will have a little cousin to play with when they come to visit.
Allison is also excited because she and her dad have started emailing each other. He has been pretty regular about it, so I am ok with it. He will be sent back to Kuwait in October, so I want to make sure she gets this chance "just in case."
As for me I have decided to stop hibernating and start living life more. I have been socializing and even have done a bit of traveling. Nowhere exotic mind you, but we have had some fun.
I hope that all of you are doing well. Even though I have not been here you have been on my mind and in my heart. God Bless all of you!
